I guess at #391 that puts me several years away! He also said if you know of a place that they can manufacture let him know? Then I asked if the deliveries were on schedule an he said that their is no schedule. That's funny because in his order letter to me he said delivery in Q3 2017 just like on his web site. Then lastly he said there will be no A/C in the first Solos and that you should just roll down your windows. That may work in Canada but as a commuter vehicle in the U.S. 80% of the country has a hot or humid summer, not fun with your suit on going to work, if I wanted another motorcycle I would of bought one! No ABS, no regen, no air bag, and no air. Sounds like Fred Flinstones car.

You must have missed the part about ramp-up. By the end of the year they will have roughly 400 produced. They start off small scale until they can afford the resources to manufacture at large scale. I'm sure you'll have yours by the end of the year.
Also he said the very first solos will not have A/C... By that he was referring to the first of the first. He said A/C will be standard in most Sig series. I'm fairly confident that by the time they get to #391, the A/C will be ready.
I hope you are right. I like so much about the solo but I live in Phoenix and no A/C would be a deal breaker. I work at a busy Circle K in Scottsdale and see about 1000 people a day, I think half of them are all waiting to see the Solo parked out front. I'd bet he would have another 100 orders from here in the first week.

I'm pretty confident about our getting our A/C and not having to wait a year.
Chris, Keep on the lookout for  this... Jerry has alluded to setting up some kind of referral commission program a few times.
Arcimoto just announced that they will pay out $200 per SRK for referrals. A person could almost make a living on that.
Required listening... House of Lords - Can't find my way home
This version kicks. There's just no other way to describe it. Shivers. Turn...it...up!

You definitely need AC! I'm betting we will see the option.  It would be a deal breaker for many reservationists and AC was on the options list early on.

I've read elsewhere that A/C will be an option but not perhaps for early adopters. I elected no options but the shiny wheels and the charging cable. I'm retired so I can usually choose to drive in the cool of the day or park under the shade of a big tree. I'm not too concerned about hot days which we have a few in Manitoba but it's not a steady diet like the southern/southwest USA. In the hot dry parts there might be a way to hook up evaporative cooling, like a wet towel draped over the roof...  Rolleyes OTOH we do have icy roads in winter and a few snowdrifts. I might have to keep the gas-guzzler for that season. I've seen video of Solo doing pretty well on light snow. If I can delay my trips until the roads have been well ploughed and a groove worn through by traffic, it might work for me.

"For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?"  It seems to me that the Vancouver Auto Show and the chat were both full of uncertain sounds, rather than a clear call to battle.

As best as I can tell, there are fewer solid answers than what we thought we had 7 months ago.
I'm done.

I'm to old for battle.  My question regarding 2 doors was answered.  More progress in the shortest period of time than I've seen on any enclosed three wheeler concept in that past 12 years.

Hey, the EMV lights are on, Inter Meccanica is a well respected custom coach builder, there is some build/testing activity, test drives, the CEO is making a personal effort to answer questions, some may not like the answers,  answers may change,  not asking for funding, Solo Stores opening, simple refundable reservations, so it's a no risk road show on the journey to see what happens, met some people,  has entertainment value, some of my Solo needs may be met, if not Go Arcimoto SRK and/or Tesla Model 3 Teams!
